Latter Days

For some reason, I decided that I needed to go back and finally read through the Cerebus phone books. I read the original comics, but if you know the story, you know that it gets very dense in places and reading it in a monthly comic versus reading it in a big chunk like the phone books is a very different experience.

I'm reading "Latter Days" right now and I think I am enjoying it much more than did the first time I read it. I'm getting a lot more of the detail and the nuances of the story. I will be going through everything after "Jaka's Story" eventually. I'm going to be doing this wildly out of order, but it will be fun since I already know the general story.

Zot!

I'm pretty excited! I just bought Scott McCloud's long awaited black and white Zot! collection. I'm currently having a nice return to my life in high school/college reading these stories again!
