I've decide to start another blog to reflect one of my most common activities: reading. I'm a big reader. If it were an option, I think I would spend most of my time reading. Given my weekly consumption of books, comics, graphic novels and the like, I think doing an occasional (read: weekly more or less) review of my latest readings would be kind of cool. Maybe this will grow into something more formal and organized once I get going, but I guess we'll see about that in the future.
One thing I have decided on is that I will use a 10 star rating scale. I doubt I will be handing out many tens. The scale will be something like this:
10 Stars: Go buy this and read it now. I mean right now.
8-9 Stars: This is pretty good reading. Worth searching for to get.
6-7 Stars: It's a good read, but not spectacular.
4-5 Stars: If you've got some spare time, this will do.
3-4 Stars: You could give this a miss with no real loss.
2 Stars: Blech!
1 Star: Some bothered to commit this to print? Jeez...
0 Stars: Go find the writer/artist. Hurt them.
